The 2007 Madtown Film Festival is This Friday!
Check out films made by students from all over the valley.
The show hosted by the TM Club, Sponsored By Yamaha 99 and Isabel Perez, Act 1 Tuxedos and Madeline's Bridal; will take place at the Madera Center in Madera, CA.
The Madera Center (30277 Ave 12 Madera,CA) is located 1/2 mile east of Freeway 99 on the Ave 12 exit or if coming from Highway 41, turn west on Ave 12 and go 11 miles.
The Parking, Entrance, Drinks, and Food are all free.
The film festival is scheduled to begin at 11AM, at the Madera Center Forum Hall AM-120.

FYI...I had purchased the Creative Suite 2.0 from http://www.uscollegebuy.com
as it said the upgrade to 3.0 would be provided by Adobe. After I received the software, I called Adobe and there was no problem obtaining the upgrade. I simply had to fax them my receipt and pay about $6 in shipping. I have not received it yet, but it's only been a couple of days.
I was curious about the Production Studio Suite 2.0 they also offer at about $300, so I emailed them. They replied that Adobe also offers the upgrade for this program as well! The ship date for the upgrade for this program is not until June when the 3.0 for Production Studio is scheduled to release.
Please keep in mind that I am only passing on this information, I am not trying to pursuade or encourage you to buy software from this company, I am only relating my own experience thusfar. I have not yet received the upgrade for Creative Suite (as I previously mentioned), but as soon as I do, I will pass on to you information on whether it really does work. By the way, the software itself works great!
Also, the Creative Suite 2.0 version(at $197) is already out of stock and the new Creative Suite 3.0 has replaced it at about $300! That's why I chose to take a chance and purchase the older version of Production Studio now, before the prices went up, or they went out of stock.

Thanks for the great job at the Madtown Film Festival. It was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed the various films created by students. There is a lot of talent out there and I hope this festival grows larger next year!
